Sustainability strategies for Acadimia
The purpose of this tool is to help us to focus on optimal ambitious, but realistic, sustainability strategies for the Acadimia project. Your thoughtful responses and reflections here are intended not to dismiss or promote specific strategies, but rather to highlight the priorities and goals that will need to frame our upcoming dialogue about Acadimia's future.
Before continuing with this tool you should read the Acadimia Sustainability Options Discussion Document thoroughly. It contains concise descriptions of all of the sustainability strategies that you will be considering using this tool. Once you have read the Discussion Document, keep a copy of it handy so that you can refer to the descriptions as you use this tool.
The tool consists of three sections that are intended to reflect three key dimensions of project sustainability. In each of the sections you will choose and rank the three sustainability strategies that you think are best suited to facilitate that sustainability dimension. The sustainability dimensions are:
Once you have completed selecting and ranking 3 sustainability strategies in each section, you will be presented with a brief synthesis highlighting the primary features of sustainability exemplified by the options that you have selected and how you have ranked them. Read this overview carefully. If you feel that it does not accurately reflect your opinion regarding the relevant dimension of sustainability, you may change your selection and rankings. Each change will produce a new synthesis. Once you are satisfied that the synthesis reflects your opinions, move on to the next section and repeat the process for each of the 3 sustainability dimensions.
When you have completed choosing and ranking sustainability strategies for each of the 3 dimensions of sustainability, you may enter any comments that you feel will better communicate you concerns and interests regarding the sustainability of the Acadimia project.
Finally, you must click on the submit button at the bottom of the page to record your results. Only one form should be submitted for each individual. So, carefully read what you have entered into the form and the syntheses produced before submitting.
